COLOUR CONTRAST
COLOURS SPACED ABOUT A THIRD OF THE WAY ROUND THE COLOUR WHEEL
THIS KIND OF COMBINATION AS STRONG CONTRAST AND MIGHT BE
CONSIDERED THAT THEY CLASH WITH EACH OTHER
The first image is made up of the colours
red, blue and yellow.
These are CONTRAST colours as they are spaced at
1/3rd around the colour wheel
The second image could be an accent colour, but
as the coat takes up a large area of the image it
is better to class it is an contrast colour.
Red and Blue are spaced at 1/3 rd from each other.
The third image shows the contrast of the tones of voilet and blue
These colours are also placed at at 1/3rd around the colour wheel.
The colours are probley closer to each other than the other images
as violet and blue merege on the colour wheel
The final image of buildings is made up of
the colours of red, blue and green.
These colours are contrasting as they are
spaced at thirds around the colour wheel

COMMENTS- doing this piece of work has been helpful to allow me
to link in better my images to the set assingment subjects and
will allow me to discuss the re submitted work with my tutor as I
can clearly demonstrate the relevance of each image and why I
have submitted it under that colour grouping .
