DIVIDING THE FRAME...

I have selected a series of images that I have taken, which show a variation in the division of the frame.

Icelandic door, division in colour, lower bottom hand cut into a square, image gives the impressions of rectangular shapes

division in circles and lines, image waited at top and lots of space at the bottom.
also divided in colour tones .

division of lines v curves and also how the curve shape made by the rivets cut thru the frame

image broken down between different rectangular images

This image shows a busy foreground and empty background...it also shows the division of the subjects and the people around them

close up of telephone box against the poster background, image balanced 50:50 in the frame, also a division on the colour tones of the telephone box and the grey poster.

Frame divided by levels. The upper level v lower level. It is also divided by the vertical lines on the upper level and the horizontal lines on the lower level.

LEARNING NOTES/COMMENTS
