Framing the subject

It is important when taking an image of a subject to assess the best composition withing the frame.

Exercise- Fitting the subject to the frame.

Subject- Victorian beach huts Mersea island

The first image shows the beach huts in relationship with the beach and surrounding areas. This image shows the context of the number of beach huts and the contrast of the colours. This was taken at a wide angle of 24mm. Which shows a greater viewpoint.

The second images has been taken at a different angle and a shallower angle of view at 50mm. filling the frame with the repetitive shape of the beach huts creates a more interesting point of view. It also highlights more the colour and shape
contrasts.

The third image shows a detailed close up at 80mm. The cropped in frame highlights the detailing on the huts and the contrast in colours and tones of the beach huts

The final image shows a different point of view, that gives a complete different perspective on the beach huts, which primarily shows the different colour tones

OUTCOME
My preference would be image two as I think it is the most interesting point of view showing the beach huts shape, receptive pattern and contrast colour tones
