focus the eye to the front of the image

WESTMINSTER ABBEY
THE EVE OF THE WEDDING
The press were trying to get some good news stories
out of the people camping out. This lady was American
and said that Lady Diana told her in a dream that she
needed to be there to witness this event. As you could
imagine there were lots of people keen to talk to her.

As the couple left the abbey and the parade made its

clambering for a view point to see down to the bottom

The service is over and people are making there
way home.
As the ceremony ended the fly past made its way
down the Mall to celebrate the marriage of William
and Kate.
COMMENTS
I planned this event and took images pre and post the
actual wedding day. I went to several locations to
photograph this event so that I ensured that I captured
not only the sequence of events but also the atmosphere
of the days. I am happy with the contents of the images
but I think that I have not demonstrated a variety of
photographic techniques as I am had mostly taken
head shots or portraits.
Overall I think these images portray the events and
atmosphere in London on the day of the Royal Wedding
